WILD BEEF

WILD BEEF

In creating Wild Beef’s identity we have reflected the respect shown to their animals, raised exclusively on uncultivated grassland and natural forage, without use of fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides.

Wild Beef, breed and raise North and South Devon and Welsh Black cattle using traditional farming methods.

Identity

Wild Beef at Hillhead Farm, Chagford, is a family-run business which produces natural, grass-reared and grass-finished beef, which is packed with nutrients. The wild pasture in the heart of Dartmoor is home to Richard and Lizzie Vines’ herd of freely roaming cows. The Vines’ 70 plus native cows, chiefly Welsh Blacks and South Devons, are allowed to graze as they please, with calves and mothers living together.

“Allies is a gem of a small business — a well-spring of flair and originality. Led by the capable and charismatic Susanna Cook, the small team seem effortlessly and genuinely to identify with the business in hand, to such an extent that to spend money on marketing becomes almost a pleasure; and surely a good investment.”
— Richard Vines, Founder and Owner of Wild Beef

We created Wild Beef’s identity to reflect the Vines’ old-fashioned approach of rearing the cows in the most respectful and pure way possible, ensuring their quality of life, but also reflecting the most nutritious, (full of Omega 3, 6 and 9, minerals and trace elements) and tasty beef the country has to offer. The cattle are raised exclusively on uncultivated grassland and natural forage, without use of fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides.
